Individually or Jointly

Investing individually, or jointly with a spouse, is the most common option among our investors. Distributions are sent directly to your personal bank account, with flow-through income/loss from the property reflected on your individual tax return.

1031 Exchange

A 1031 Exchange is a popular method for investors interested in swapping out a current investment property for another of like-kind, as a way to defer capital gains. We are continuing to expand our experience in this area, and have worked specifically with DST and TIC structures.

Self-Directed IRA

A self-directed IRA is a type of IRA that allows an individual to hold varied investment options inside a retirement account. Therefore, the investor can decide what types of assets they want to invest in.

Solo or Self-Directed 401K

A solo 401k (or self-directed 401k) is very similar to a self-directed IRA, except it is provided through a 401k plan. Not to be confused with your typical employer-sponsored 401k – this is for self-employed individuals, whose 401k’s are set up to allow for real estate investments.

Limited Liability Company (LLC)

Do you have friends or family that you would like to invest with? Or maybe you want an added level of liability protection. Investing through an LLC might be a fit for you.

Trust

Similar to an LLC, investing through a trust provides flexibility and liability protections for real estate investors.
